…to my blog about food allergies.
What I want to share with you is our everyday life with a food allergic babe in London, UK. We have been through a lot and especially when ab’s diagnosis was fresh, we felt alone, stuck and helpless. We did not have any hopes, dreams or a life. We were merely surviving, day by day.
I know that there are many families out there who feel the exact same way as we did. We came a long way, we discovered life beyond food allergies, and I can say now that ab is not missing out on anything. He is a very happy boy, and allergymum and allergydad are trying hard every single day, 24/7, to keep him as happy and safe as possible.
I wish I had the knowledge that there is a very strong allergy community out there, tweeting, facebooking, pinteresting and blogging to share, support, encourage and educate families when we were told ab was suffering from severe and multiple food allergies.
So if only one person benefits from what I am trying to do, I achieved something.
The babe turns 3 in november, by the way and would respond with a sharp ‘no, mama, I am not a baby anymore’, if you would ask him. So we better not.
The recipes in this blog are all tried and tested with a lot of trial and error involved. They are constantly improved and updated.
They do not contain egg, wheat, gluten*, buckwheat, soya, dairy, peanuts, nuts, sesame or lupin.
I hope you find this blog helpful, and if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to leave a comment.
